SiriChand Khalsa MS MD
AYURVEDA, CULINARY MEDICINE
Creating what medicine never gave female physicians, a place to flourish.
Siri Chand came to integrative medicine before it had that name, drawn by a lifelong conviction that how we live is medicine. Her path took her from Mayo Clinic to a two-year full-time immersion in Ayurveda under Dr. Vasant Lad, studying in Albuquerque and in India, to the front lines of modern integrative practice as national lead for Integrative Medicine at One Medical and faculty at the University of Arizona's Integrative Medicine Fellowship, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil. She has spent over thirty years learning what it takes to heal, and what it costs when healers are not healed themselves.
Vishuddha is the community she built from that reckoning. It is for the physician who is still practicing but quietly wondering if there is another way to inhabit their work — and for the seeker who believes that food, rhythm, story, and breath are not alternatives to medicine but its deepest foundation. She brings to this space everything she has learned, including what she is still learning.
