⸺ PREVIOUS TOPICS

Created for you to learn from practitioners with something to share.

Vishuddha is a peer-based professional space moving physicians from private expertise to visible presence.

Our legacy is held in the desire to speak freely about what we have seen in our practices and study with truth and authentic expression. That's what we're here to cultivate.

Topics we are exploring

Six territories the Series keeps returning to — clinical and personal alike. Each is broad by design — a new physician joins every month, and her session lands inside one of these rather than starting a new list.

01
Trauma & the Nervous System

How early experience settles into physiology, and what actually moves a dysregulated system — from the ten components of healing childhood trauma to the daily work of regulation.

02
Stillness, Breath & Attention

Meditation, breathwork and yoga taken seriously as clinical tools — how to begin a practice, and how to keep one when the week gives you nothing.

03
Food, Gut Health & Daily Rhythm

Culinary medicine, emotional eating, digestion and circadian timing — read alongside Ayurvedic seasonal routine and modern gastroenterology.

04
Women’s Physiology & Burnout

Hormones, the pelvic floor, midlife, and the particular exhaustion of high-achieving women — including the good-girl conditioning that keeps it in place.

05
Identity, Purpose & Leadership

Reconnection to self and trauma-informed leadership — what it takes to lead, and to stay whole, inside an institution that rarely asks.

06
Writing, Voice & Work Beyond the Clinic

Books, essays, teaching, business and the careers physicians build outside practice — how to find a public voice and what it costs to use it.

These are the standing areas, not a syllabus. Individual sessions and their dates are listed in the Series lineup.

What is "Integrative Medicine"?

The Whole Person, Not the Complaint

Sleep, food, stress, grief, movement, relationship, meaning — treated as part of the clinical picture rather than the soft edges around it. The question shifts from what is wrong with this organ to what is happening in this life.

Evidence and Lineage, Together

Culinary medicine, lifestyle medicine, and Ayurveda all point to the same truth: the routine of daily choices is more powerful than any single intervention. A practice is how that truth becomes a rhythm you can lean into over time.

A Partnership, Not a Prescription

You are the one living in the body, so you are part of the decision. The work is to give you enough understanding to act — and a physician who has the time to explain rather than only instruct.

★★★★★

"I've tried so many programs and I always end up in the same place — motivated for a week, then back to takeout. This one held. Not because it was strict, but because it was actually designed for how life works. By Week 2 I understood my own patterns for the first time."

SARAH M.

High School Teacher · Portland, OR

★★★★★

"I came in skeptical. I'm a data person — I needed the science, not just the recipes. Dr. SiriChand gave me both. The circadian eating week alone changed how I structure my whole day. I now have a Tuesday night fallback meal that genuinely works. That alone was worth it."

JAMES K.

EV Engineer · Burlington, VT

★★★★★

"I'm a nurse. I know about nutrition. What I didn't have was a framework that worked inside my actual life — shift work, two kids, not much time. This course gave me that. I feel steadier than I have in years. My kitchen feels like mine now."

PRIYA R.

Registered Nurse · San Jose, CA

YOU'VE READ THIS FAR FOR A REASON.

You are not confused.
The paradigms are shifting.

The kitchen is a good place to start. Twenty-one days. One clear practice.
A structure that holds on your busiest days, not just your ideal ones. I'll be with you the whole way.

Living Medicine Lecture Series

FAQ

What the sessions are, how access works, and where the boundaries of the Series lie.

Section one

Before you join

01 Who is the Series open to?

Anyone. Clinicians, students, practitioners and thoughtful lay learners are all welcome, and no prior background is required.

Be aware that some lectures run more technical than others — they are given by physicians, and a few assume a clinical vocabulary. You will get more out of some sessions than others, and that is part of the design. Nothing is gatekept: every talk is open to every subscriber.

Everyone enrolled can bring questions to the live events. What speakers cannot do is answer questions about your own diagnosis, medications or treatment plan — see question 04.

02 How often are the sessions, and how long is each one?

The Series is ongoing — new physicians are added over time rather than run as a fixed season. Sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes: a talk from the featured speaker, then open conversation. Come live or watch the recording at your own pace.

03 What if I miss a session? Are recordings available?

Yes. Recordings are posted to the lineup once ready, and you keep access to every recording released during your enrollment — come back to a session weeks or months later and it will still be there. A small number of talks may be live-only at a speaker's request; when that is the case it is noted on the session page in advance.

04 Can I ask the speakers questions?

Yes — that is much of the point. Most sessions include a live Q&A open to everyone enrolled, and the setting is deliberately unhurried: these are the conversations a fifteen-minute appointment cannot hold.

Ask about the topic freely. What we cannot take are personal medical questions — your symptoms, your labs, your medications, what you should do next. Any answer given is general educational commentary, not individualized medical advice, and it creates no professional relationship with the speaker.

For anything specific to your body, diagnosis, medication or treatment plan, bring the conversation to your own physician.

05 Is this appropriate if I have a health condition?

The Series is educational content, not medical care. Speakers share their expertise, research and clinical perspective — none of it substitutes for the guidance of your own physician.

If you have a diagnosed condition, take prescription medications, are pregnant or nursing, or have any other specific concern, please consult your personal physician before acting on anything you learn in a session.

06 What is your refund policy?

Seven-day satisfaction guarantee. Complete your first week. If the Series is not for you, write to us within seven days of enrolling and we will refund you in full — no questions asked.

After that window, enrollment is non-refundable, since it carries immediate access to the live sessions and the full library of recordings. If you hit a technical problem joining a session or opening a recording, contact us and we will make it right.

07 Where do the sessions happen, and how do I get in?

Live sessions are hosted online through a secure video platform. Recordings, resources and the full lineup live inside your Vishuddha account on our learning platform — join and re-watch from any device, any time, with the account you create at enrollment.

Section two

The important fine print

08 Is this medical advice? Are the speakers my doctors?

No. Every session is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Attending a session, watching a recording, submitting a question, or communicating with a speaker or host does not create a physician-patient or other professional-client relationship of any kind.

Nothing in the Series is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any question you have about a condition, medication or symptom.

09 Are results or health outcomes guaranteed?

No results, outcomes or health benefits are promised or guaranteed. Any stories, cases or testimonials shared by speakers reflect the experiences of specific individuals and are not representative of what any other participant should expect.

The views expressed by any given speaker are her own and do not necessarily represent the views of Vishuddha, Dr. Khalsa, or other participants in the Series.

10 Can I share, download or repost the recordings?

No. All talks, recordings, slides, written materials and imagery in the Series are the copyrighted intellectual property of the individual speakers and of Vishuddha, licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not download, screen-record, redistribute, repost, resell, teach from, or use the material to train any machine learning or AI system without prior written permission. Access is tied to your individual account and may not be shared.

By attending live you also acknowledge that sessions may be recorded, and that any question you ask on camera or in the chat may be included in the recording.

11 How is my personal information handled?

We collect only what is needed to deliver the Series, communicate with you and process payment. Payment is handled by our processor and we never store your full card details. We do not sell your personal information.

For the complete detail of what we collect, how we use it and your rights, read our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. By enrolling, you agree to both.

12 What if I have a dispute?

We would always rather hear from you first — most concerns are resolved by reaching out. Write to info@vishuddha.com and we will do our best to make things right.

For any matter that cannot be resolved informally, our Terms & Conditions govern the relationship, including applicable law, jurisdiction and the dispute-resolution process. Please review them before enrolling.
