Nalini Velayudhan DO
NARRATIVE MEDICINE FACILITATOR
Holding space for physicians to reclaim the stories and the humanity that sustain them.
Nalini came to narrative medicine through her own reckoning with what medicine asks of its practitioners — the steady suppression of witness, of feeling, of story. Her work in these circles is not about adding one more thing to an already full life. It is about recovering what was always there.
She trained in family medicine and addiction medicine, practiced for over a decade, and carried her patients' stories the way most physicians do, quietly, alone. Narrative medicine gave her a language and a container for that weight. These circles are her way of offering the same to others.
