Melting into Being Monthly Class
After years of working with caregivers in healthcare and patient communities, the one thing Rashmi has appreciated more than anything is the deep longing we all share for rest and reconnection with our essential beingness.
As strong as this wholesome desire is, caring for ourselves in this way doesn’t come easy, especially for those among us who are so used to radiating beingness in service to others. Reflecting radiance inward can feel strange, and even frustrating, especially when rest has maybe looked like turning off that inner luminosity or dampening its flame altogether for survival.
Sound familiar? This kind of inner burnout isn’t our fault. It’s a natural by-product of systems that weren’t necessarily built to nurture the needs of caregivers. We become so accustomed to modulating our innermost ways of knowing, caring, and behaving to accommodate everyone else. We aren’t taught in our training, or given the space to explore, how to nurture the innate presence of those strengths for ourselves.
The Ayurvedic approach places that source of our radiance, resilience, and vibrance at the center of care. Every individual and communal health-related behavior is designed to optimize the recognition of our shared beingness and help us relate to life through its natural expressions. Healthfulness blossoms when we care for our whole selves - Nature + Awareness - right here.
“Wisdom tells me I am nothing. Love tells me I am everything. Between the two, my life flows.” - Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, teacher of Advaita Vedanta and Non-Duality
Join Rashmi for monthly yoga and meditation sessions where we will play with concepts of rest and non-doing through awareness-based practices from Yogic, Buddhist, Tāntrik, and modern mindfulness traditions. 60-minute classes will include a mix of gentle āsana (postures), prānāyāma (breath expansion), mantra, guided relaxation, and seated meditation followed by time for connection and reflection. Bring along a blanket, a few cushions/pillows, and yoga blocks (optional) to help you get comfy. Don’t worry if you’ve never meditated before. All classes will be accessible to beginners and long-time practitioners alike.
Please note: “non-doing” is not a passive exercise. It is a resonant and engaged way of being ourselves as restful awareness - free of harsh judgment, empty of constricting mental constructs, full of interconnecting presence and possibility. This is considered to be the naturally auspicious, stateless state of consciousness, allowing for the wisdom of love, agency, and insight to emerge in any form.
Explore rekindling the flame of inner knowing with the intuitive energy of your own awareness.

What qualifies a clinician in integrative and lifestyle medicine?
Certification might be obtained through reputable organizations such as the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) or the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). However, it can also include a course of self-study or newfound interest. Clinicians trained in this field use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including diet and nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other non-pharmacological methods to prevent, treat, and often reverse chronic diseases. Their practice emphasizes patient-centered care (not disease-centered care), where the patient and practitioner are partners in healing.
Who is the Vishuddha membership for?
The Vishuddha membership is designed for individuals who identify as women in the field of integrative and lifestyle medicine who are seeking to deepen their understanding and practice in integrative and lifestyle medicine, personal growth, and community connection.
